the more repeatedly
we export our self-worth,
the more repeatedly
we import our loneliness.
:::
we take interest
in virtual platforms
of which instantaneously satisfy
our personal-biological-material desires,
foster our seeded insecurities,
expand our impish curiosities,
disseminate calculated opinions,
incapacitate emotional intelligence,
deliver second-hand local and global news,
decrease inner self-contentment,
abandon the present moment,
diminish meaningful conversation,
permit skin-level social selectivity,
enable consumerist tendencies,
re-imagine unappealing realities
with more idealized realities,
and galvanize human connection
with humanized connection.
lest the human conscience
becomes more agile and clever
than the finger-click of a key,
there is a fear the mountain
we built will be insurmountable;

society will manifest its ultimate efficiency.
if the former occurs to its fullest,
the human spirit will become
inefficient at true social growth---
circumventing a constant
craving for human belongingness.

they made their apartment
a hotel,
so they could make
the world
their playground and heaven
their home.
:::
God is a three-year-old
whom takes a handful of sand
and throws it into the ocean,
allowing you to dissolve
completely in love
on impact.
:::
remember,
love laughs loudest
to those whom wink at it---
understanding in utter ignorance
their inherent ability to love more than.
:::
love is commonplace;
yet, we have made non-love
all else that is common
in its place.
